Last week was completely hijacked by preparations for the return to school. There was supply shopping, clothes shopping, shoe shopping, open house, orientation and the constant driving around that these things required. By the time the first day of school came around, I was ready for a vacation in Tahiti.
The girls seemed to have a pretty positive attitude about the end of their summer break. I can’t ask for any more than that.

I know. I’m not sure that has sunk in, yet.
*sigh* I miss those days of flirting across the table while in a high-chair. Or lounging on the couch with a kid under each arm watching a movie. Playing tag on a sunny day. But Alex is going to have a blast; I can imagine.

So far, they both seem to really be enjoying this year. Time flies, doesn’t it?
