Um, did you mean, “Shutterbug”?

leggy My name is Nikki Murray and I’m a pixel-pushing mother of two who has been buried neck-deep in code since 1998. Currently, I work as a user experience and interface designer for a medical software company. When I’m not designing, I’m frolicking about with a camera or recklessly wielding needles.

Buttershug is a befuddled name that was intentional, a nickname for me coined by tattooist, artist, and long-time (albeit slightly dyslexic) friend: Tami Jo Urban. This website originated in April of 2003 and has gone from personal weblog to strictly a photographic portfolio and has seen countless redesigns. What can I say? I like to shake things up.

I should think the rest of this site would speak volumes more than this little about page. Its simple purpose is to serve as a photo catalogue of precious moments, written memories and snippets of life.
